Take Five to Save Lives on #WorldSuicidePreventionDay

Today, on World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD), take five minutes of your day to learn the suicide warning signs, and steps you can take to prevent it.

According to the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), yearly, “suicide is among the top 20 leading causes of death globally for people of all ages. It is responsible for over 800,000 deaths, which equates to one suicide every 40 seconds.”

The National Council for Suicide Prevention (NCSP) launched the “Take 5 to Save Lives” campaign, to encourage people to take five steps to prevent suicide on WSPD 2018.
