Four Tweets That Sum Up The American People’s Claim for Gun Control Following the Parkland Shooting

A 19-year-old man killed 17 students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, with an AR-15 rifle on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities. The shooting became one of the 10 deadliest mass shootings in US modern history, The New York Times reported. 

The American people expressed their sadness and frustration towards politicians who continue to oppose gun control laws, citing the 2nd Amendment, while receiving millions of dollars in contributions from the National Rifle Association (NRA).  Here are some of the tweets that show that the American people are fed up with the “thoughts and prayers” and are now demanding actions:
